180 job change-- EAD or H1 transfer/new H1

Hi All,
  Could you please tell me the difference between H1 transfer or new H1.
We filed our 485 in May,2001 in TSC. My company is laying me off on Feb15,2002.

which one is the best H1-transfer/new H1 for using the 180 day rule.

You can use your EAD when change job after 180 day I-485 filing...

You should look for similar job and salary, and let new employer send letter to INS saying that.
