180 days rule question

I am about to file my 485 soon in the CSC. Could someone tell me
what is considered the start day for for the "180 day rule" by INS.
Is it the day your 485 application is received by INS by mail, or the day they look at it for the first time or some other date.

Nobody knows the exact answer to your question yet, because
INS has not published the regulations. Most lawyers seem
to think that RD will be the starting day.
