Well, the AC-21 memorandum is out but it doesn\'t say from when the 180 day countdown begins. Is it safe to assume that it starts from the Receipt Date of I-485 ( and not the Notice Date? )

What difference does a few days make if you are in control of when you can leave the company. Always go with the ND to be on the safe side if you can manage that.

In situtations where you might not have the ability to control your future with the company, it is a different issue. In such a case I would tell the INS that you interpreted it as the RD.

By the way, according to Ron Gotcher it should be the RD.
