I am in a strange situation any need advice....I work for comapany "A", however my GC is being done by company "B". I just heard today that the Company "A" might be laying off people this month and I am sure i am going to be one of them. I have filed my 485 app in May (from Company "B"
. My Rd is 5/18 and ND is 7/18. I recd my iEAD on 8/20.
Due to some reasons, I do not want to join company "B", neither does company "B" wants me to join them right now. However, they are willing to continue my GC process (without me joining them).
Now, company "C" is willing to hire me. Please advice:
--If I can join the company "C" using my EAD right away without affecting my 485.
--Can I join company "C" now and use 180 day rule after Nov 18 to transfer my 485 application.
Please let me know what are my options...any help will be greatly appreciated.
