180 day question

Hello,
I had a question regarding the 180 day rule. I was let go 2 weeks ago. I am considered an active employee till Nov 12th. My 180 days got over last week. So now if INS issues a RFE for employment verification after Nov 12th and if I haven\'t yet found a job, what happens?
I really hope its ok..Could someone please clarify on that ?

it might not be ok if you don\'t have a similar job when you get rfe.
i\'m not so sure though. keep trying for a job, good luck.

Also, since you have a few months before your adjustment happens, you have that much time to get yourself a new job, and a new I-140 - naturally, that\'s assuming you weren\'t at your now ex-employer for 180 days. If you were there for 180 days, all you need to do is find a job before the adjustment happens.
