15 year journey ends!!!!

As per automated e-mail, online message and phone system, my husband's and my 485 was approved on 6/29/04. We are 8/02 filers. We've been partying for the past couple of days so that's why I am posting so late.

Here are the important dates:

485 RD - 8/02
FP 1 - 9/02, FP 2 - 4/04
EAD 1 - 8/02, EAD 2 - 7/03, EAD 3 - pending (filed in 4/04)
AP 1 - 8/02, AP 2 - 6/03, AP 3 - 6/04
485 approved - 6/29/04

My husband has been here for 15 years:
6 years F1 (4 years BS + 2 years MS)
1 year practical training
6 years H1
2 years EAD

Needless to say he is VERY HAPPY that this saga is over.

I will stick around for a little while to answer any questions that I can.
 
Congrats. That's a long journey. He must have lot of patience. No wonder you are partying non stop.
 
Congratulations! The journey has just begun! :) Now get onto the regular things Americans do, buy a house, 3 cars, 5 kids, college tution, life insurance, and what not...enjoy!

I always think that my GC journey was long, whenever I see this 10- 15 years for GC I feel that US immigration system is dead.
