15 month FP counter

A quick question. Does the 15 month counter start from the date FP is done or from the date FP review is received by BCIS?

FP review seems more logical but then not everything is logical in this world.

Even it's not very clear whether everybody ( who passes 15 month timeline from FP) gets Re-FP or not...... Some people say it's computer picked - to decide who needs to go for re-FP after 15 month.

I think it's the date you did FP. I called IIO and that's what they told me. But logically, it should be the date they received the FP. And from the date those ppl got second FP notice, mostly are the date INS received the FP result.

I just checked online. My case is approved. One thing I notice, actually the 15 months finger print expired rule starts counting from the date INS recieved your FP and not the date you did your finger print.
