I have got a "Notice of Intent to deny Form I-140" and the reason mentioned was that it is a fixed term rather than permanent offer of employment . I work as a lecturer in a university and the contract said that it was for two years fixed term and I attached a letter from the head of dept stating that though it is mentioned like that "there are no plans to cut this position once the contract ends and there is a possibility that it could be renewed". Now they say that the university has not made an offer of permanent employment. Did anyone ever see an RFE like this.....any comments/suggestions would be most welcome.
