I changed my LAST name 13 years back after Graduation from India. So all my Visa (5 H1), passport, SSN, experience letters, marriage cert etc are with NEW last name, but the Graduation (BE) Degree is with OLD last name.
Name change was done using a Affidavit in front of magistrate and Newspaper Ad just before applying for passport. Unfortunately i have lost that name change proof as no one asked me this proof from long time. Now i got an RFE, asking for Legal name change proof. Is there any substitute for name change docs i can get in US (CA)? Any experience folks out here?
