The questions is, if i have an approved I-140 from Company A and I switch over to Company B, then would i be able to file my 485 based on 140 related to Company A when my PD for Labor (company A) becomes current.

Thanks, please let me know

1. you mean i would be able to import the original PD when i would be filing my 485 papers for Company B.

2. The other question is would i be able to file my 485 for Company A although i am working for company B when the PD for Company A becomes current?

1. Yes
2. Yes - unless Company A withdraws the application. And you'd have to join Company A after your I-485 is approved.

Do you want leave the Company A and go to company B?

If you have standing job offer from company A you can apply for I-485 at that time. There is no need of staying the Payroll of Company A

You do not have offer from company A you may need restart the process but priority date is yours
