140 pending security check. - EAD

Hi,
My 140 was stuckup in security clearence and I applied for 485 , EAD and Advanced payroll.

If I get the EAD , can I change my employer on H1b transer with my 140 still valid ? I dont want to use my EAD until 140 is cleared but If I change the employer is my GC process going to be still valid ?

u cant move to a new job until ur 140 clears to port ur priority date. meanwhile 6 months have to pass from the date u applied ur 485 for you to invoke AC21 portability rule to change jobs while carrying over ur priority date...
