Dear Folks!
I have an important decision to make. My 140 and 485 are pending since more than 180 days and I have an offer with the same group of my current company but will have to move to a different location. Its also a promoition but within the same group and the same job discription.
Also,
1. When my LC was filed, it was mentioned in the same that I will be working from different locations within the US.
2. However, my H1B was location specific and if I plan to take this offer, I will have to amend my h1 B inorder to move.
My question is therefore, will an amendment in H1 B impact my GC? Will a promotion in the same group but a different location impact my GC?
I would greatly appreciate if you guys could throw in your insights!!!
