140 PD for substitute labor

Hi Friends ,
I have used a substituted labor under EB3 category for my green card and my I140 has been approved . I have the required experience to qualify for Eb2 , In case I file a new EB2 labor from the same employer and thereafter 140 can I port my EB3 PD to this one. In general ,I read this is possible but mine being a substituted case I did not know If I would Qualify.

My lawyer said that u can. I think there are lots of posts in the forum too which claim the same.

Did u get the original labor priority date with ur I-140 approval?
 
Yes , I did get the original labor PD which was April 2002.

I was not sure coz with the new EB2 transfer of PD when i apply for 485 is there a need to show my original labor too i.e the subs labor.
