140 Denied -Advance Payrole used: Needs advice

One of my friend she used her Payrole in June.
Her 140 got Denied in Decemebr.
She has h1b Extention for another 1 year but used AP.
then what is the status on this condtion.

Please advice. any one come accross this situation.
 
My wife, who is on H4, used her AP and my 140 got rejected. But I got my 7th year H1 and her H4 petition approved very recently. As per my lawyer, the H status is not lost even if you use AP. Shouldn't use EAD though.
