140 approved

I have been a regular visitor to this forum. Finally i got my 140 approved first week of Feb 2005 which was filed concurrently with my 485 since Nov 2003. Thanx for all your inputs.

I am affected due the the EB3 retrogession. My question to you guys is

1. When can i change jobs. Is it 6 months after 140 is apporved or is it that if 485 has been pending for 6 months and 140 is approved (which is my case) . What all things need to be made sure b4 changing over to the new job with regards to job description,salary, position etc.

2. How soon we think the priority date will move. Mine is early 2003.

6 months after 485 is filed.

I think you can change jobs since your 485 is pending more than 180 days.

So the rule is 180 days from 485 not 180 days after 140 is approved and 485 has been pending for more than 180 days
