Approved on May 3 and got an email from USCIS on May 4th, 4:00PM EST

Employees : 800+
Profit making : Yes

Will update the tracker too.

How about I485? What is the current interpretation of FO memo? Where are our experts from this forum to clarify???

Jai Hind and congrats.

Now it seriously looks like that people with ND < Published date won't get benefit.
 
So that's the new interpretation of the memo ... I can tell you that Brigand (and not only) will be very disappointed. I feel bad to say that, but there are a lot of ppl here who had the I140 approved in the last weeks, having concurrent applications and I bet nobody was happy with all his posts of being the "luckiest guy in the world" for not having I140 approved ... but he might have a chance. I wish him (and other who believed him and his 3Q theory - the most famous theory posted here) GOOD LUCK. And of course the same for the rest of us ...

Well nemessis - I am not sure about that. It is my apprehension - I had also mentioned in one of the threads about this feeling that VSC is moving dates much faster in order to get rid of workload in immediate future.
 
Congrats man , VSC is doing that’s it old or new doesn’t matter , I think everyone will get I-140 Approval very soon my ND Oct 31st
 
I agree with Laxmany. USCIS cannot do the regular work. They cannot switch to that memo so soon. The workers might have slowed down wondering what that memo is, just like how we are all wondering - but definitely not as intelligent as this group to come up with various permutations and combinations.

It will take those guys few months of training to switch to "whatever" memo that was. While they are training, it may slow down other applicatios. How is this interpretation?

Well!! I do agree that something whacky is going on!!

But its WAY TOOOOOO EARLY to be elated / disappointed!!

As per '3Q theory' JaiHind's 485 would have been pulled out and FP triggered!!

..but that didnt happen....hmmmm....maybe case worker made 'prima facie' decision??

....or maybe the decision was physically made PRIOR to April 30th and the db was updated today!!

..that could be a valid explanation!!

I am in a very big trouble like many of the ppl here, maybe worse, because of this situation with the backlogs but at least we have some fun ... I would have never believed that this is possible.

It is too early - we need to see more 140s being approved with ND < published date for any reasonable conclusion.
 
these might be already open cases, in other words, officers having these files on there desk and allready working on them, so they were in middle of these files and they had to finish them......something like this...we need to wait and see what happs today and tomarrow...if we see more approvals in next 3 days for concurrently filed applications...then we need to find out what they are up to...

People who are reporting approval do not seem to have got FP done and that maybe the difference why they got 140 approval done - who knows!
 
That's because they have ND after June, and few FP were sent for the second half of 2003. For me it looks like VSC is keeping the same trend of approvals like in the last weeks. My interpretation now of the "FO memo" is that they are trying to bring I140 as close to the filing date as possible maybe 2-3 months as it used to be and after that they will mobilize all the resources for I485 backlogs ... but of course my interpretation has nothing to do with what is written in the memo :( :( :( :(
