Congratulations. I applied 2 days before u, but still I am waiting. And Same category.

I am expecting with in couple of weeks.

Looks like they are doing slowly and randomly.
I would give few weeks or a month but the notion
of getting it approved at same time as I485 is not
true, I never believed it and it did not happen in my
case.

Notion not valid

Concurrent filing only implied that the applications can be filed together without waiting for the i140 to be approved. There was no notion of them being Approved concurrently. But i140 is always expected to be approved before i485.
 
Does anyone really know about delay in 140???

I have filed under EB2-Masters with notice date of 5/29/02 and filed 485 on 10/07/02.

Is it true that VSC is going to process 140 and 485 together??? I can not believe this! This would defeat the purpose of AC21 and concurrent filings!

What would happen if one takes chance and changes job without an approved I-140 in hand? My company is acquired and I may be let go after 5-6 weeks. I have completed 200 days after filing 485 and 140 is pending over 333 days! what are my options? My lawyer is going to inquire and let me know!

I would appreciate well informed opinions/suggestions!
