NSC, EB-2, sent out on 5/2, notice date 5/5.

Received email yesterday, 140 was approved. Only 3 weeks, much earlier than what I expected. Priority date was 2003/8, special handling. This could be one reason it was processed so quickly. The official NSC website shows currently processing cases received in 2003/12.

485 concurrent filing, also received fingerprint notice last week. Scheduled for early June. Could anyone give an estimate when 485 can be approved?

Three weeks - which state?

Hi,

Did you file inthe Vermont office? My husband and I are in New mexico. We are about to file in the Texas office but as far as I know, they are processing on average in eight months. Vermont seems to be faster, two or three months. Can a couple either move or stay with friends and file in a faster office? We are seriously considering a move!
Congratulations to you, by the way! :)

I think when dreamdream says in his post about NSC, I would think it would be Nebraska Service Center. For Vermont Service Center, he would have said VSC. Anyways, I was not sure if you live in NM, you have an option to file 140 in VSC. I thought only 485 can be filed in your desired location. Since 140 is an employer thing, it should be filed in the employer HQ or where the employer office is located, and in your case it would have been in Texas. I think I am wrong.
