140 approved finally

My 140 application was finally approved on Jan 18th. 2005

140 RD: Sept. 2003
485 RD: Jan 2004

No RFE on any application.

I had a lot of LUD on both my applications.

PD on approved 140

The priority date on the notice is July 27, 2001.

I had used LC substitution and filed in Sept. 2003. So it is not the 140 filing date but it is the PD of the original LC.

This is a big relief to a lot of LC subs. cases.

Did you file your I140 with the original labor certificate or a copy of it. Mine is also a LC sub case filed in june 2003 and USCIS is still looking for the original labor.

lawyer did. i asked the lawyer to tell the PD to me. they will send a copy to the employer who will forward a copy to me.

Yes, I had a few LUD changes on my I140 and I am guessing it's either because of a mass update or a status inquiry.

Your lawyer should be able to tell you whether they used the original or a copy of the LC. If not you'll come to know when you make a status inquiry or receive an RFE.
