140 approved but company acquired. what to do?

My 140 got approved from company A.. A is acquired by company B. What to do?

Any chances of proceeding with 485 filing?

Had the same situation

Must be all right unless the company tax id was changed, you relocated or there are changes in your responsibilities. INS tracks the company info by its tax id so if it was changed ask your lawyer. My perception was that it might be a big problem. In my case the company was aquired by another company and the former became a fully owner subsidiary of the latter with the same tax id. It worked just fine for me.
 
file 140 amendment

Hi,

mine was the same case,
just go ahead and file 485 if u\'r dates are current with the approved 140(old)
and also file 140 amendment with new company name as you know you may get RFE
so you can be ready for that RFE

file new I-140 and I485 together

you better file I-485 and anohter I-140 under new company together to avoid the REF for I-140 redo later in your I-485 process.
