I was fearing an education RFE, based on postings observed here lately (US Masters, but not in computers/MIS)

Paralegal confirmed that the EAC# I saw approved couple days ago was mine (we are not allowed to have the 140 receipts), but I guess she was in a good mood today

They haven't received the approval notice yet, but hopefully that should come through in the next couple days.

Also, received the EAD card for 2nd EAD approved on 06/10. I actually got two email notices - on 06/14, saying "On June 10, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card...", followed by another on 06/16 saying "This case has been approved. On June 15, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice..."

Finally, 2nd AP was approved 06/14 and the attorneys have received the AP documents.

I'm assuming the 2nd EAD triggered the 140 approval. 342 days.

At least I'm now out of the Ohata memo scenario, but on the other hand, I'm now fully portable under AC21. So have mixed feelings

Congratulations Philly KP. Your EAD was approved on 6/10. Mine was approved 6/16. But I-140 is still pending ND 7/15/03. Looking at your case trend may be next week? :confused ;)

Don't know the answer to your question, as i didn't see the receipt. Only had the receipt # in an email from the paralegals.

Hopefully, dude. Strange are the ways of the USCIS.

I would guess though that you should see the magical email by the middle of next week...

Congratuations!

You said that you were afraid to get a REF because of major mismatch. Could you please post what was mentioned in your ETA 750 form and why there might be a major mismatch? Thank you so much!
 
Unfortunately, as of now, I do not have access to the ETA 750 (as beneficiaries, we really have no input into the whole process - labor filing, EB category for 140, even the AOS is forced down our throats based on inputs from the big-name law firm attorneys - I would have picked CP any day!)

However, I'm rambling - to answer your question, my MS degree is in an area of engineering not directly related to what I do. However, at the end of the day, the 'big-name' law firm :D seems to have come through and done something right!

I might file an FOIA request soon (I'm not really worried about prospects for continuing employment, neither am I looking to move on myself for now.). If I do, and end up acquiring all the petitioning documents, I'll let you know.
