140 and 485 filed concurrently

i140 & I485 filed jointly
I have filed 140 and 485 concurrently in Sept last year in VSC.

I called BCIS and they said i do not have to wait for I140 status etc at all as i filed concurrently....

BCIS will let me know once they finish processing I485 only.......

Is that correct?

Any body has any idea?
 
another load of Bull Shit from our very own BCIS. You should track 140 separately. It has nothing to do with 485 approval. Although it seems as if the 140 processing is based on the 485 ND.

Please update the thread "Sept 02 .. Still wating" with your ND details
 
I have heard the same from my Lawyer , when she tried to enquire on my case
140 - June 19 2002 ,485 , Sep 26. b
Either the IIO is nuts , .. No matter what , we are getting screwed .

Any idea if substituted labors save time in the 140/485 process if the approved labor has a PD say 1 year earlier than the date that is being processed?

So far I have not seen any evidence to suppoort this. Nowadays everything is current and priority date is no longer of any importance.
