140 and 485 filed concurrently

i140 & I485 filed jointly
I have filed 140 and 485 concurrently in Sept last year.

I called BCIS and they said i do not have to wait for I140 status etc at all as i filed concurrently....

BCIS will let me know once they finish processing I485 only.......

Is that correct?

Any body has any idea?

I also filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently at VSC in September 2002. I got RFE for I-140 in December 2002 and I-140 approval in January 2003.

Ur attorney will receive the 140 approval notice.Ask him.

If U know the rceipt number U can check for the status online.
