140-485 not approved, FP complete

Guys,

I am just trying to see what the current trend seems to be at TSC and would appreciate any input you guys might have.

I am almost certain that TSC is approving 140s very quickly for people who have been affected by retrogression. This makes sense because they can atleast switch jobs and stuff while they wait for their PDs to become current.

The question is about people with current PDs, 140/485 pending and completed FPs. What is going on with them? I am one of those. Both my 140 and 485 are pending and the FP has been done. Do you think TSC is not approving the 140 because they are getting ready to approve the 485 shortly after the 140? I guess its to early to figure this out but if someone has some insight it would be great.

I too given athought about the same subject and found that some people got I140 approved inspite of not getting effected Retrogression.

Have you tried contacting your Senator ? Your priority date is 2001. you have done FP already. your 140/485 if filed 1 year ago. Seems like a very strong case to approcah the Senator

Have a thought about this?

u may already know that the 140 date is now 8 nov 2004.
so i am pretty sure they are working on all the pending i-140 cases.

hang in there and u shud hear abt ur 140 anytime now.

as far as 485, it still goes by the availability of the visa number....tsc doesnt have a preference while processing ur i-140 if ur PD is current or not...

Thanks for the suggestion. I have thought of all possible alternatives and getting in touch with a Senator is going to be my next step. As you can see from my signature its been a crazy ride so far. Just a few weeks ago I was able to find out that my case is finally back at TSC where it should be. My lawyer has suggested that I wait for a couple of months because I might get approved in this time. If nothing changes by the end of this month, I will be getting in touch with the Senator.

Please see my signature. Don't know how they re going to process I-485. Didn't saw any LUD change the last I have done FP.
