140/485 denied - please help

My 140 and 485 has been denied on educational grounds.
about my case- I have a 3Year degree in B, Com from India and also 1 Year PGDCA from NIIT. Never receiveds any RFE.

I provided an educational evaluation from Trustforte that equated my degrees to a US Bachelors in CS, that didn't help any thing. My H1B visa expires in Dec'05. What are my Options.

If I file an appeal wherein I try to provide educational evaluations from top firms is it going to work. Please respond. Thanks
 
Yes, it will work. It happened to me. Finally, I got my I-140 approved and I filed I-485 last year and got it approved couple of weeks back.

I received an Intent to Deny saying my degree is not equivalent to US degree and also combination is not acceptable as it was not mentioned in the ETA.

My attorney mentioned in the response saying 'Bachelors or Eqvivalent" should be read broadly and accept combination of degrees and also explained the education system in India and how it is different from US. If we have such a stringent rule, this would not be fair for many Indians as the education system is different and they should not be blamed for education system in their country which was designed by their Government and also U.S employers will not be able to employ many of such people because of the above education system.

Eventually, I got it approved.

Can any one suggest top Credential Evaluation companys so that I can get couple of Credential Evaluation for me please.

Morning side Evaluation in NY is very good, Trustforte, globe are okay but Morning Side got a better reputation.
 
Mine also denied, appealed in April and today sent to AAO. I was unfortunate now wait continues another 14 months :mad:

Did you file in EB2 or EB3? Mine was similar case and I refiled it in EB3 and it got approved in second attempt.
