140 & 485 Approved today - 10/18/2004

I got email for my 140 approval at 12:30 pm today and just after 15 mins I got another email for my 485 approval. I just can’t believe!!

Guys is that true or USCIS did some mistake...??? Just trying to believe the never ever excepted emails. Normally 140 approved first and after may be month or so 485 gets approved.

No. first 140 gets approve then you have to wait year to two to see 485 approval....just consider yourself so lucky and enjoy...congrats

It should have.... wait a year to three.. there are folks that have either waited or waiting for three years or close to three years in the past and even now, I believe.
 
My I-140 RD was in the beginning of Mar 2001. So I'd say I've been waiting over 3 years and 6 months, but I agree - my case is not straight forward.
 
Guys, I am sorry! I did not mean that. Mine cleared on the same day, so I am not in a position to believe this..hope this is true and I will get my approval notice soon.

congrats! that is rather quick.
looks like they have jumped to cases from LIN04 overlooking the 03 and 02 files.

Mine is concurrent too (485 ND 4/1/2003 and 140 ND 02/13/2003, AD 04/16/2003 I believe it is concurrent because I filed 485 prior to 140 approval), but looks like only concurrent filings since 3rd quarter of 2003 seem to get the blessings of NSC while others are still rotting in their shelves.

You should try to buy few lottery tickets or get on the next plane to Vegas.
