Answers to your questions

I'll provide all the answers at once -

I got the approval emails immediately on the day it was approved - Nov 24, 2004

My fingerprinting was done on May 15, 2004 and I applied for Labor in March 2003. My labor was done via RIR and took 5 months for approval in Chicago.

I did apply for second EAD and AP in Oct 2004 but that was discarded since my 140/485 was approved.
