130 approved, 485 pending

We went to the interview yesterday: I-130 approved, I-485 pending background check.

It's already been 7 months since FP, I hope it won't be too much longer for background check to complete. Anyone with similar experience, please share it.

Also, I still need EAD to work and AP to travel, right?

You still need EAD and AP. That is correct.

Interview was quick. IO checked our IDs and then went through our files, asked us a few quick questions like "how did you meet each other, where do you work...", verified my EAD and AP, made a copy of our son's birth record, discussed a few quick things. That was it.
