What does the expiration date on the 129F petition indicate. That my wife must get a K3 application to the US Consulate by that date or that a visa must be issued by that date?
I'm asking because the consulate in Bangladesh is taking forever. They say they haven't received the DS-156 yet. It was mailed over 2 weeks ago. Current speculation is that they've received it but hasn't been processed. My wife is trying to get the post office to open an inquiry since she sent it via registered mail. Consulate told her that it can take up to 2 months for her to hear back. That puts us outside the petition validity date which has me a little concerned.
