Never Changed jobs..No RFE..Company Name changed once ..Had to send amendment for I-140 after it was approved.

On Rupnet I am registered as deepk. Unfortunately I accidentally registered twice.I could not remove it . So the count in rupnet for Nov will go by 2 .It is just me

This was the last thing I was expecting....Nov. approvals and that too on thursday!! What a great news!!!

My secret maybe that .....

I called IIO once 2 weeks or so back even when they were processing 10/15/2001 cases. The lady who was extremely nice (may I add) told me that I should expect to hear something by
end of March, She had also told me that they havent even started Nov cases..

Thankfully did not have to wait till end of March..

Maybe my call might have triggered some activity on my case.
maybe it didnt...I dont know and I am not complaining..:)

I also renewed EAD/AP once in Jan.

YES ALL NOV GUYS GET READY...AND CHECK MESSAGE DAILY!!!!!

I also checked AVM now..It says approved too...Hope they are not playing with my emotions...
Let me see if I get the approval letter in the mail in 14 days.
I am not informing family/friends till I get my passport stamped. You never know......

11_6_2001: First of all Congratulations ....

I have a Question regarding I-140 Amendment.
How long it took for getting I-140 Amendment Approval?
what documents did you submit for filing I-140 Amendment?
Is company name changed before applying I-485 or after applying I-485?
I also filed I-140 Amendment for company name change but TaxId remains same. Its been 8 months still I didn't receive any update from INS regarding that.
My I-485 filed before applying I-140 Amendment.

Do u work for Kenexa Inc., in MA....I don't know whether my lawyer filed for I-140 Amendment or not....My RD is 11/28....


Hope I will get approved without any RFE's...
 
My I140 ammendment was filed just before my first I-140 was approved . ofcourse much before 485 was filed. I am not sure I got any approval letter saying the ammendment was approved. I got only a single I-140 approval

I do remember my 485 being filed in Sept but INS returned the whole package back saying my I-140 was never approved. they got confused because of ammendment. Lawyer resent the whole package this time explaining clearly and then it was fine.

Another guy in my office whose RD is 10/5 still not approved just called IIO and his was the same problem..they said they never got his I-140 and when he explained about the ammendment ,they found his ammendment and they said they will pick up his case. If he had not called the IIO, he would have waited forever. If you have an ammendment please call IIO..they always screw things up as far as the ammendment is concerned.


I never worked or even heard about Kenexa Inc...
