1099 on EAD

I am working on EAD while my concurrent applications for I-140 and I-485 are pending. Another employer wants me to work part-time on 1099. Is it legal for a non-greencard holder to sign 1099 form? I will still be working with my current employer fulltime.

As per me, it's legal.
