$1000 for an inquiry

I would be willing to pay $1000 to get the case adjudicated but not just to get a status. But then again, I can understand your frustration, anger, and anxiety. Good Luck!
 
Sounds like extortion, technically it's not, but it just sounds like it. Many reputable lawyers cannot get the answers, but for a nice fee this one can? :rolleyes:
I wouldn't pay for this. I don't think I could trust the information that I would receive.

Even if the information is accurate, it is not going to speed up the processing of your application. if $1000 will speed up processing then I will pay, or I wll spend $1000 to improve and strengthen my patience :-)
 
Try to get AILA liason number or E-mail id. They will help you to get more info. There might be some one local in Atlanta too.
 
If this laywer has special connection maybe he can magically have your application adjudicated or at least trigger some domino to happen. Ask him if he can garantee an approval within 2 months.

If yes offer him 1000+, but if no, he get less 100-200. Othervise how could you know if he could get authentic information. INS changes could be used as an excuse for anything.

Just my thought.

Looks like everyone got a point. I wanted to inform everyone that there are still some people who take advantage of our precarious situation and extort money. This is a day light robbery.

What more information he would give? If he does anything more then he is bypassing channels and may be crossing some legal lines.

And unfortunately, if this is the practice that exists then we are all in wrong hands.

Try offering him for $100 to $200.

We all are not in wrong hands but some wrong hands are there , If you can take advantage of that go-ahead b/c you are already late......
 
use the congressman's office, not the senator's office

just a personal experience! the congressman's office seems to be more effective than the senator's.
