10 days gap in EAD renewal .. URGENT pl help

Gurus,
I got my EAD Renewal card .
Applied on June 11 2001 and got it on Aug 26 01
But the start date of approval of new card is 10 days later
than the expiry of old card .
This is clearly an INS error ...
Will this be a problem ?
I am continuously working for the same company .

I think it should not be a problem, since you did apply for your renewal before your EAD expired. Check with your lawyer.
 
U should not have been working from the pt ur EAD expired ..unless u had a valid H1

Tell ur company not issue any check from regular paycycle..showing u were working.
Tell them to pay you as bonus ...

If ever there is an RFE for pay stubs ..and if INS officer is smart enough to catch it ..he could create problems by stating how u were working without a valid EAD IN HAND....Law states you can only work if u have a EAD in hand ...receipt does not help
