I am a 10/01 filer. After reading all the posts here, I decided to call the Senator's office for assistance. After faxed them all the information, they actually called me back on the same day. The guy told me VSC told him my case is on the right track, they are waiting for the background check. He told me if I don't hear anything by 11/1, I can call them back.
My case already passed the 22 months. Fortunately I did the fingerprint in 6/02, so it hasn't expired yet. No reference. I called VSC once in May and was told that they reviewed my case in 2/03, now waiting for second review, don't understand exactly what they meant.
This seems like an endless waiting.
