1 yr outside canada

hello,
im planning to study on my native land for a year. i just want to know if im breaking any immigration law. is it not the same in the usa that you are only allowed to be out of the country for 6 months.

i heard that it is ok as long as your in canada for accumulated 2 yrs within 5 yrs.

i want to make sure that this is true.

Nope

You are good as long as you maintain 2 yrs residence in 5 yrs in canada to maintain your PR
