1 Hi Pump, what is Sangli\'s case on RFE ? can you share the story ?

Nancy there may not be a second RFE for you

(#7 of 7) For my case (cutting down the big story short here) -
- RFE notice issued on Dec 26th for W2s, Paystubs and
employment letter.
- RFE was responded on Jan 25th. I checked the AVM on
Jan 25th and surprisingly it said -
"On Jan 24th we issued RFE..."
- After calling IIO, this was a man who told me first
that -
- They had ordered an RFE on 24th Jan only and
there should be only one RFE issued.
After probing little more about RFE issued in Dec
he looked into the system (another one?) and said
- Yes, the there are two RFEs.
It looks like there was only one RFE after all.
- The AVM was updated for acknowledgement of response on
Jan 31st and my case was approved on Feb 1st.
(AVM updated to approved on Feb 4th).
So wait for some more time and see. Probably there is no second
RFE for your case.

I have made a copy of sangli\'s recent post
Also have given u a link to original message of sangli
and a link to brinkster.com - This is a website having rfe information of a few people for tracking purposes
Sangli also has an entry there . Sangli has been approved recently.

My Case is a little bit different. I responsed RFE on Nov/2 and AVM
was updated for ack on DEC/2 and then AVM was updated again on Jan/24
about another RFE. So I talked to an IIO a couple of days ago and she didn\'t really help me at all. She just said that I should wait more and then do a fax inquiry if I I have not received the letter after while. It is so frustrating that I have to wait and do nothing. My laywer said that there is nothing she can do either. Thanks for your kind response !!!

Your avm was updated on Jan 24 saying that a rfe was mailed to you and that if u do not get it within 14 days to contact INS. Also did IIO confirm that there has been a second rfe .
You should ask her to confirm this.
Is this correct
In that case 14 days have elapsed and the course of action is
a) contact your lawyer if he/she has received rfe by now
b) if lawyer not recd ask him/her to do something about it
c) if lawyer does not respond properly then call IIO asking for fax number
d) search this website for fax enquiry form and fax a message to CSC asking them for a copy of RFE.
Be proactive - and ask for confirmation
Call IIO , hopefully you will get an IIO who helps you
