There is no namecheck specific number. However, if you call the National Service Center or take an Infopass appointment and happen to be lucky to bump into a polite immigration officer, you may be able to find whether or not your name check has been cleared. Other than that, there is no dedicated line to give you the information.

takadigi is correct and there is no such a phone #. But you can try to contact your senator and congressman. They can help you to check the status of the name check for you. But it will take around 3 ro 4 month to actually get some response.

There's not much point calling USCIS's 1-800 customer disservice line until your case is at least 6 months old. Prior to that, its almost guaranteed that some grumpy uninformed phone screener will simply tell you to call back after 6 months have elapsed. You may get more luck with an Infopass.
I don't know how long you've been waiting, but if its been less than 3 months since FP, you may want to wait a little longer.

well the whole idea is to be able to call them on the phone and get an answer. i know i called them in the past and they weren't of too much help, but i was hoping things has changed. a part of the problem was (beside being grumpy) that they didn't have access to certain application status, and if it has been some major delays they used to transfer you to an Immig. Officer which they could see on the screen more info about your case than the previous guy

I just called this number to check my case. A very nice lady told me that very same day FBI sent results to INS. Is it normal? My fingerprints were taken on Oct. 21st and Oct. 21st to send it.
