I got e-mail yesterday that we send a notice for additional information. My spouse also got the same e-mail.

Can someone tell me that what that RFE could be. I am confused because both of us got the RFE e-mail.

Please guess....................

FYI:- I am from NON-Retro Country............. and I apply for EAD renewal earlier this month.........

Thanks in Advance

Medicals...

Buddy,

I think it could be medicals or employment verification letter, it takes normally 2 weeks for the RFE mail to arrive. Right everybody?

It took two-three days for my buddy. Mail is delivered in two days in the continental US.

It all depends on your application packet that you submitted to USCIS. If anything is missing or needs more documents/clarifications they will ask for it.

Don't worry, just wait till u get the RFE in mail, should not take too long to get it.

Good luck.

eb1ORGC is right. If you search the forums, other people have had RFE's for things like copies of birth certificates, W2's, 1040's, legal status, pages in passport, I94, etc.

My wife and I also got separate RFE emails on Thurdsay 8/24 (but from TSC). Hoping that the attorney gets it Monday morning... (8/28)

Does this mean that my name check is cleared?

Thanks for a quick response…………

I just got the fax from my attorney and RFE is about birth certificate of myself and Spouse and my job verification.

Here is what written in the letter.

• The birth certificate you have submitted does not include you mother’s name. Submit any secondary evidence in your possession to support the information you have provided about your birth and parentage. (WHAT I CAN SUBMIT FOR THIS)
• You must submit a currently dated letter from you intended permanent employer, describing your present job duties and position in the organization.

DOES THIS MEAN THAT MY NAME CHECK IS CLREARED

On birth certificate - send affidavit along with any hospital records etc (for the affidavit u can get a format from your attorney or u can find info about it elsewhere in this forum).

The second should be easy for you.

On the "Name Check" -I am not sure, I will let somebody else comment. Myself, luckily I did not have any problems. I had fingerprinting done in Jan 06 and I got the approval this month. I was affected by retregression.

to which center u applied ur 485? is it NSC or TSC?

My wife also got the RFE for the birth and parentage. She does not has any certiifcate with both the parents name.
What all would suffice here?

Who should sign the affidavit?

Do you know, what is written on the reply envelope.
I don't have the envolpe uscis sent with the rfe to respond.
Can you confirm the address for responding to the rfe, and does it has anything else. They said in the rfe that respond in the attahced envelope, but since I don't have it, I have to use another one and write everything on top of it.

My attorney ask us for affidavit from my wife's mother and for myself he asked the affidavit from my father and his brother or sister because my mother is not alive.

We did not respond to RFE yet as we are waiting for verification letter ........

I had got affidavits from both parents. They took the oath and signed. An advocate and a judge signed on it. I think this should be good. USCIS, did not ask any thing further.

Basic thing is you need to give them sufficient leagal proof of your brith and parentage. The more clear you are in your affidavit, the better off you are.

Good Luck. It should be easy for you.

yeah, I think this will do. we can get the birth certificate also (you know being from india and all), but I don't think we need that.

because we already submitted no record found certificate and affidavits with 485.
