oci checklist

The VFS site has a PDF (link below) that says an Employment Letter is one of the documents to be submitted as part of the OCI application. Has anyone (who is employed) got their OCI in 2023 without submitting Employment Letter? Is it really needed (if employed) or can it be skipped?

Hi, Hopefully this will be easy to answer for someone who has recently filed for OCI card. Checklist has list of documents and all, except printed application form & photo, are color copies. If all are color copies (and notarized) then i wonder what these two are for and what information is to...
