USCIS issued H1b amendment approval notice with validity date in past
Hi, My employer filed for H1b extension in premium and it was approved on May 26, 2016. The new I797C is valid from May 25, 2016 to Aug 3, 2017. Then my employer filed for H1b role amendment ('Lead Engineer' to 'Project Manager') in premium and it was approved on Oct 20, 2016. To my surprise...- Ravikiran Desai

i-797c after submittion i130
My i-130 was received on February 1, 2016 and then they sent me a i797c on Feb 2, 2016. The Notice said that the i130 was received and is in process. I haven't heard anything else from them since then. Is this normal? Is the i797 that I received the only notice that is sent out?- ashakya
