Question 5 Para 2 "If the alien is not admissible as an H-1 or L-1 nonimmigrant, then he or she cannot be readmitted as an H-1 or L-1 nonimmigrant. The rule is quite simple. If you are not a permanent resident (green card holder) and do not have a valid US visa stamped in your passport, you will need a transit visa (they do not check it at at all is another matter..).- Naresh_GC
