I thought you can get h1 visa stamping only in the country of origin. Also, to go to Canada, you need visa - which takes a month or more. I have the same situation, F1 grad in may 2004. Then H1 - still on OPT I guess. Now I want to go to India in May but apointments in Mumbai are in Aug so...
