Just a quick note to let you guys know that I received my card two weeks after my passport got stamped. It's a long journey, but I am glad that it's end. It's time to kick back and relax. Thanks everybody who provides me with the update info. btw, is there any lucky guy who gets...
Green card approved
My interview was at 1:30PM today and I went there around 11:00AM. I was called in around 1:25PM. A very nice American American Officer helped me. The interview was very short. She took my fingerprint and asked me to take the oath. Then she asked me very routine...
It seems that this thread has been updated very slowly recently. Does anybody want to share his/her interview experience? I will have the interview next week. Just want to know what type of questions they will ask. Does anybody get his/her passport stamped on the spot lately? Any input will...
Question
I am thinking about changing my job after I get my greencard. But my lawyer suggested me to stay in the same company for at least six more months. She said it would be helpful for my future citizenship application. Does anybody know if it's true or does it matter?
Hi H1Blayoff,
I can cancel it at any time. What time is convenient for you? How about 1:30 PM today? Please let me know if it works. Or you can suggest a way to do it. :)
Hi, save_intvu, I can totally understand your frustration. I saw an African American officer did that before. I had an infopass scheduled for this wednesday(May 11, 05). I want to cancel it since I already got my interview letter. So does anybody need this appointment?
I just did my fingerprints this morning. To my surprise, there is no line!!! I did it within 10 or 15 minutes. The lady who did my fingerprints had to do it several times because my fingers were too thin. Anyway, I am kind of worried if they got it wrong and I might have to go back to redo...
Question
Does anybody know how long it might take to get the finger print results back to local INS? I received interview letter today. But I have to redo my finger prints. I hope I can get my passport stamped on the same day that I got interviewed. The question is that immigration officer...
good news!
Just a quick note to let you guys know that I got my interview letter finally. It took about 20 months to schedule an interview... Thank you for all your support and information. Good luck on everybody. I will keep posting my updated info...
Question
Do you guys know if there is any temp. card that I can use for my job before my current EAD card gets expired? Or is there anyway that I can get my EAD card faster. My card will be expire in the beginning of June. I can't enquire my case unless it's pass over 90 days. But by then...
Forgot to let you guys know what I heard from the local immigration office yesterday. One black immigration officer told me that they were processing the cases which were transferred in 2001 and 2002. Does anybody ever hear about this? This is unbelievable!! How could they be so slow? Are...
Thank you(gc4us) very much for your response. I had a really bad experience at local office. I got my appointment scheduled today and found out that I had to wait 3-6 more months(already 19 months past, total waiting time should be 25 months to schedule an interview--that's ridiculous!!!) to...
Question
Does anybody get their approval without redoing the fingerprints? I never got the fingerprints notice again after I did my first fingerprints in July 2002. As far as I know, the fingerprints are only valid for 1 year or 1.5 year. So do you know if I have to redo my...
Thank you for your input. Y, I guess so. But I called Emily 3 weeks ago. I just confrimed with her yesterday. I would assume that she sent enquiry the same day as we talked. If it's just about 1-2 weeks, then it means that the local ins might miss me again. :(
