Hi I changed jobs and my new company did H1 transfer. Everything was done without attorney to save money. After 6 months H1 petition was finally approved. But it was approved till the same date as the old one only!!! It expires on 07/19/2005. (I had H1B for almost 3 years). Probably wrong...
