I guess there is a long wait for the 485 filing now.

I followed the link to the OCI application.Looks like the application assumes that the whole family is applying for OCI.has several pages one for the primary applicant,spouse and minor kid1,minor kid 2.

Don't PD's loose their value once the annual quota is increased ? Thats one of the things intended in this comprehensive immigration reform bill..right?

You missed the most important factor that influences FIFO.
"Distance between the box containing your case and the certifying officer's desk."
Like Saknia mentioned a couple of days back it looks like they have multiple threads of processing started by opening multiple boxes randomly..
You HR should have control over your Labor application..meaning they should have done the paperwork so that PBEC starts communicating to the new attorney.Your labor application belongs to your company and not to the attorney.Make sure you get an official coomunication from your company explaning...

Saknia's "RandomBox" theory seems to be the one followed by PBEC and thats the reason PBEC is ashamed of explaining the FIFO clearly.They make some smart a** explanations published once in a while to keep us shut.
