Ellada, I also didn't have valid stamp on my passport, I gave old I-94 along with original renewal notice I797 which have I-94 (bottom part). Dont forget to keep a photocopy for you in case you need in future Thanks, Ellada

Passport, EAD, I94, photo We took 2 passport size photos, All I94s including current one, our passport. I-797 approval notice original, They asked whether we have EAD, AP etc. but I didn't have, my wife had EAD which they collected. Officer asked place of birth. No other questions.

Today we stamped our Passport. Myself, wife and son, all together it took less than 20 minutes in Houston

No you cannot I think providing incorrect information may put her in trouble. She need to tell them that she has valid EAD.
