That is an awesome analysis. I agree its not an exact science but atleast roughly we know how the numbers would or should look like.
I think 300,000 was the oustanding number of labor applications doing the rounds before PERM became fullfledged. Lets say...
Recent update in Murthy's website suggests that all 45 day letters should be out by June 2006 at the latest. Haven't seen any comments from anybody. Once the letters are all out, hopefully that would weed out all the redundant applications soon and only genuine ones should remain.
With the...
Philly BPC numbering
JW or any of the other experts
Can you guys throw some light on the Philly BPC numbering system, seems quite complicated, what with the T number generally starting with 05 and then another 5 digit number after the hyphen. I'm just trying to get a sense of what the total...
Retrogression Bill S.1932
Hi Just watching
Whats your take on the bill that has just been introduced and which if passed, could be a light at the end of this tunnel? Your knowledge in these matters is unsurpassed amongst us. Can you explain the nuances of this bill to us in layman terms? One...

proof of filing
There has been lot of talk of proof of filing? If you are filing for extension sitting in the goddam... country why do you need that? If you are getting a visa stamp in India, then that is a completely different animal altogether. We are all such pros waiting in this queue for...

Murthy's new update on 2/17/2005 refiling under perm as an option is quite interesting and the example of 70mph freeway is excellent.
The question is what does the term "identical" mean acording to DOL?

Your analysis and thought process is excellent and shows indepth knowledge of the issue.
Just a query though, recently Murthy's Friday 1/28/05 update said that RIR and Regular are separate buckets. I dont know from where the original rumor of both...
RIR versus Regular
I dont think this will end up happening. This is too preliminary a report. For heavens sake, the guys have just completed/completing sending letters to Regional cases. It may be that initially this queue may be combined, but they know better than us the distinction in...

My attorney just called me and told me in response to my query that the 45 day letters have only been sent for those that have been reviewed already by SESA and subject to adjudication by Regional. So anyone expecting letters...
