Thanks for sharing. Did the officer gave any clue about your pending I485 as the PD is current now ? I am not seeing/hearing any approvals or LUD's from the folks whose PD is current since Jan 07.

My LC PD is 04/30/01.. current from jan 07. Code 3 FP completed in july/06 Name check is cleared as per the reply I recieved from uscis for the email enquiry I made. No LUD since 11/06 which was for my EAD approval.

My PD will be current in Jan 07. Looks like my NC is cleared as well per USCIS rep ( called yesterday). Any idea how soon USCIS will start working on cases once the PD becomes current ?

I think out of status period counts from the day of your h1B denial, not from the day of H1B is filed. You are considered as legal to work for 210 days as soon as you have the H1B filing reciept. I have mailed the FOIA request to CSC office in LA in 2nd week of August, 2005. But I have not recieved any reciept notice or confirmation letter from them. Is it normal or should I send another request to MO office since they have centralised the FOIA requests. Please provide your inputs. Thanks

Even I had called and requested for change of address in August 1st week, but till now I have not recieved any letter from USCIS confirming the change of address. Do they mail the confirmation for all the change of address requests or only few gets the confirmation ?

At last it is my turn to share the good news..!!! Recieved an I-140 approval email today. There was no LUD before the approval. Today LUD changed to approval message saying case has been approved on Sep 9th and the approval notice have been mailed. Thanks a bunch to UN who worked on my I-140 RFE.
