    I-485 Receipt Date

    Even your last name should be fine I got mine using my last name. But speak to the IIO very politely and request her to give your EAC# saying that you have not recieved your receipt in last \'n\' months .. As long as you are polite they are helpful.

    hi rajofboston just go again at a time when there is no crowd. I mean look through the glass window and make sure there are not many people. the guard just prevents you because he doesn\'t want the lobby to be filled up and people who have appt that day to be standing. Good luck

    I doubt if the IIO who answer the phone (phone-reps) and the one\'s who handle the cases are the same. They probably belong to different departments & have no clue what each other do - except for the notes that is appended to each case or file. Internally they might know how many cases or...
