Card received 1/13. Mailed for spouse 1/13
Finally the journey is over. Received card on 1/13. Spouse's card mailed the same day (1/13). Thank God, will be able to travel on new card next week. A good 6-week long peaceful vacation :D ;)
I would call my congressman's office and have them follow up on the issue. Since the published date on EB3 140 are way past your notice date, your senator's office should be able to dig information real quick. Don't trust the website too much. Sometimes the information doesn't get updated. Your...
Card Ordered for self
Card ordered on 1/7 for myself. My wife's card has not yet been ordered. Hoping to see her status change on Monday. Updated mine and added her details in the tracker.

LUD changed again on 1/4, 1/5
Updated my details with LUD changes. Not sure why the LUD is changing so often. It only happened 3 times in 15 months in which my 485 got approved. It has changed already 3 times in 3 weeks
You can get an appointment at California for Infopass. I hope you have submitted AR-11 notifying USCIS of your change of address. Usually the infopass folks don't pay a lot of attention to the address that is on your approval notice.

That may be partly true. However, that may be how it is working in reality. I believe they are going on the basis on ND. There may be a few exceptions (where a request might have been made for expediting). However, you will still find some cases which are not adjudicated. Of course, there are...
The number game is fine and I wouldn't argue on that one (except that I believe it is 28.6% and 7% per country limit - for EB1/EB2/EB3). But in my opinion a file at USCIS is always identified by the notice date and not your priority date.
You imagine having arranged all the paper files in...
You don't (and can not) include her name in your 485. Each individual (including children) will have to file a separate 485. She can apply for EAD and AP along with her 485 filing (or anytime after that). Only difference is that dependant's file usually has a link to the principal applicant...
Retrogression may not affect many people in the forum
I have been following the priority date issue in this and other forums and along with friends. Based on USCIS my case is approved, however, I am not celebrating until I get the actual notification in mail.
Regardless, I am concerned...
In my opinion, this should not affect people in this forum since they must have already filed their 485. My understanding is that the retrogression will affect only the people who are going to file their I-485 now. Their applications will not be accepted by USCIS until their priority date is...
Advance Parole is not a Valid Visa
As far as I know AP is not a valid visa. It is only a travel document. In my knowledge, both UK and Germany (not sure about France) require some kind of stamp on your passport that show them that either you have a valid visa/passport for the country of your...
I-485 Approved
Finally it happened yesterday :D. Wife and mine I-485 was approved yesterday. Got an e-mail from USCIS about the approval. Still not able to digest since our I-140 was approved about a year ago but USCIS still shows that its pending. After 24 hours, the reality has slowly start...
